Legal and Trial Consulting
I have provided consulting services to some of the most prestigious law firms in the country on a range of issues where social psychological principles apply, including change of venue motions, analysis of reverse bifurcation laws, development and critique of voir dire questions, and evaluation of racial bias in communities from which jurors are selected.
Marketing and Consumer Behavior Consulting
My experience, especially with how people's conscious and nonconscious feelings predict behavior, has proven valuable to some of the world's largest corporations and pharmaceutical companies. I have directed research projects to examine subtle subconscious cues conveyed by consumer packaging and new product launches, to evaluate the associations generated by sensory cues given off by consumer goods, and to develop and refine advertising campaigns based on state-of-the-art psychological principles.
